BisBap Kids Ministry is a special place for your kids to come to learn about Jesus. We want to help them see that everyday they spend with Jesus is an adventure! At BisBap Kids we challenge our kids to continue to VENTURE out with God on a daily basis

3 John 1:4 says “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” This is our motto for BisBap Kids Ministry. We want our kids to know the truth about Jesus, and to be there for them, and you, as they continue to grow in their relationship with God.

AWANA Kids Ministry - Wednesdays

In our AWANA program, we have a goal to to work together with parents to develop spiritually strong kids. We want kids to have fun while learning scripture, singing songs of praise to God, hearing lessons reinforcing Bible truth and playing games together.

AWANA happens every Wednesday night through the school year.  AWANA is for 2 year olds through 4th graders.

Registration for the 2023-2024 year will be taken in-person September 6th & 13th in the Bismarck Baptist lobby.

B4:12 - PRETEEN MINISTRY

Preteens (5th and 6th graders) are between childhood and adolescence. They need something constant they can hold on to while the rest of the world changes all around them.

Preteens need a place where people understand their unique needs and cater ministry to their abilities. They need a ministry that helps them transition from children’s ministry, like Awana, to middle school ministry— not in a one-time event, but in a two-year transitional period. They need leaders who structure ministry that helps them build a bridge to the next step in their faith journey and their everyday lives.

At B4:12 We aim to focus on doing just that in 4 different ways:

1.     Environment (a space just for them)

We need to create an environment that is specific to the way they think, learn, feel, grow and how they relate to God. This environment must support the already tension they feel happening inside of them telling them that they are no longer a kid by having them in the Awana groups, but rather something more, we know that this “more” is not middle school just yet, so we give them their own small group time and small group environment.

2.     Social

We foster connections with Leaders in the small group time to help them make peer connections with each other and with leaders they can trust.

The Students participate in Game time to help them have fun and make friendly connections with peers.

3.     Large Group Time – We participate in Worship with the entire Wednesday night ministry and Large group with the older youth so they have peers to look up to. They also do games with the Middle School youth so they can make connections that will last through their youth years.

The goal of this time is to bridge the gap from what students have experienced in a kid’s ministry to what they will eventually experience in our Middle and High School ministry.

4.     Small Group Time – (safe place for students to wrestle with the tension presented in the large through application)

During this time students need to be challenged to take the bible presented in the large group time and applying it to their lives.

Our Preteen ministry is on Wednesday Evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm. (5th and

Sunday BisBap Kids

A wiggly line divider in green and blue.

We believe that it is vital for our kids to understand how God’s redemptive story is seen throughout the Bible. We want kids to not only learn stories from the Bible, but how the stories connect together and how the truth from the stories will make a difference in their lives. Our Sunday morning curriculum is designed to help our kids to venture into life now and in the future living lives of purpose for God’s Kingdom.
