Every year about this time, windows in our homes are opened for the 1st time of the season, quilts are stored, garages are swept, lawns are power raked, garden soil is tilled, and the lawn mower trades places with the snow blower. There’s a certain rhythm to spring chores.

It would be great if we also had a rhythm to the relational part of our homes and families. In his wisdom, God has identified a variety of spiritual values that align with his design for families. It would be great if we would return to these on a regular basis to at least tidy up the way we exist in family relationships. Today is day one of a new series we’re calling “Spring Clean.” We’re praying for parents, children, and spouses of all ages during this series as we review values that have the potential to transform the relational dynamics God has provided for us.

Beyond the investment this series can provide your family, it will also be a good one for inviting friends and neighbors.
