Basics of Growth

We want to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus. These five things below are what we are aiming for in our ministries at BBC:

Experience God

Those who are ENGAGED IN JESUS’ MINISTRY seek to experience Him in every part and every day of life. They live interactively with God—passionately pursuing spiritual transformation. At BBC, we emphasize spiritual rhythms we pray God will use to conform us to the image of Christ for the sake of others. (Acts 2:38-41)

Worship Services

Those who are ENGAGED at BBC consistently gather in church-wide settings for the purpose of worship, teaching, communion, baptism, and giving. By gathering together in worship and community, you will experience belonging and be reminded that you are part of something far bigger than yourself. (Acts 2:42-43)

Connection - Group Life

Those who are ENGAGED at BBC regularly gather with either a friend or small group to learn, encourage, support, challenge, and enjoy Christ’s life together. It is essential for us to connect with God and others in community. Having people on the journey with you as peers and mentors is paramount. (Acts 2:44)

Meaningful Contribution

Those who are ENGAGED IN MINISTRY at BBC use their spiritual gifts to serve the cause of Christ based on the resources God has supplied. You are designed as a work of art, by God, for a specific purpose. Part of your spiritual development is learning to live more and more in the purpose God has for you. (Acts 2:45-46)

Redemptive Relationships

Those who are ENGAGED IN MINISTRY at BBC seek to build intentional relationships with a view toward sharing the faith in love with those who have not yet found Jesus. Your Christian influence should reflect good, not evil, be exercised through your example of words and actions, be seen through your associations, and be obvious to all. (Acts 2:47)
